Bourbon Street

This morning two men who were visiting New Orleans got into an argument on bourbon street and it ended up in a shoot out. One person was killed by the shooters and 9 others were injured (none of them being the intended targets). To me this was so selfish and it is frustrating knowing that people can't handle a stupid argument without getting violent. GROW UP! You just killed an innocent person!!! The ten victims were ages between 20 and 37. This vicious cycle of violence has to stop. I don't know how many times i have said/heard that and I don't know how to make it happen but something has to change! My thoughts go out to the family that lost someone and the others who were injured.

  1. That is so sad to hear! I too feel for their families. It is very frustrating that people still resort to violence instead of finding other ways to deal with their problems.

The only way I feel we can change our society is by changing our own actions and educating our country's children. If we teach our children to effectively communicate with each other and come up with compromises instead of resorting to violence, hopefully we can leave this world a more peaceful one than we one we are living in.
