Environment

After having our environmental lecture outside this past week I find myself looking at the ground more than usual. I have noticed how there is so much trash everywhere! Today I honestly wanted to get off of my car and start picking up all the trash on the side of the highway but I was on my way to work so I could not...but from now on if I am walking somewhere and see trash I will throw it away. I have also made it a priority to collect my water bottles so I can recycle them instead of just throwing them away in the trash. My next step is going to be to try to use a reusable water bottle, so I am not using so many plastic bottles every day. I tend to drink at least 2 to 3 water bottles daily, so may pile of bottles adds up very quickly. I think the reason why I like plastic water bottles more is because they are so convenient and spill proof majority of the time. I usually just pack 2 water bottles in my back pack when I am on my way to school or in my purse when going to work. Another reason that has kept me from wanting to use only reusable bottles is that the water on campus from the water fountains is not tasty and I cannot always find a water fountain any where I go to refill my bottle. With this being said I will attempt to try carrying my own reusable bottle so I can be less harmful to the environment but we shall see how it goes!
