WWCGD?

Our BLM discussion was important. The way people say "All lives matter" is really saying "This social issue of you being targeted because of your skin color is invalid". Its such a slap in the face to those effected and saying that highlights white privilege and knocks our progression back sixty, seventy years. This really is such a monumental part of our future history because history is repeating itself people. As the Cheetah Girls would say "We are sisters. We stand together. We make up one big family though we don't look the same" this just came to me while typing and I couldn't not. We are so selfish and we think "not my circus not my monkeys" and ignore the slaying of our neighbors. Maybe if we got our heads out of our butts and started caring for people other than ourselves we might not be fighting a sixty year old issue.

  1. I LITERALLY found myself saying the same thing in a conversation with a friend this morning. History really is repeating itself! And if you look back at how many peaceful protestors lost their lives in riots to advocate for basic civil rights you realize that change doesn't happen if we all just sit here waiting for others to take action. The key is to unite and organize.
